HEIDENHAIN RON287 18000 angle encoders have an integral bearing, hollow shaft and integrated stator coupling. The measured shaft is directly connected with the shaft of the angle encoder. The reference mark can be assigned to a desired angular position of the measured shaft from the rear of the encoder during mounting.
